For MS Office 2003 to work properly, upgrade it with Service Pack 3, available at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=E25B7049-3E13-433B-B9D2-5E3C1132F206&displaylang=en. So we removed them both and installed just the 2.0 version and after that, it installed first time and seems to work perfectly. I've tried both of those.

I tried what you suggested however when my computer was installing excel updates, a message prompted saying "..source file not found D:\msocache\all users..." .what will I do?thanks.
